Kite Hill is a small rise located within Seattle’s Gas Works Park on the north shore of Lake Union. Though modest in elevation, it’s a favorite spot for kite flying and panoramic views of downtown Seattle. The grassy knoll, a remnant of the park’s transformation from an industrial gas plant, offers one of the most iconic viewpoints in the city, especially at sunset. It’s a popular picnic and photography location.
