Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel, Seattle Boulevard South, International District/Chinatown, Seattle, King County, Washington, 98104

Seattle’s primary business center is known as Downtown. Because of its geographical location, it is somewhat confined compared to other city centers on the United States West Coast, being boxed in on the north and east by hills, on the west by Elliott Bay, and on the south by reclaimed ground that was originally tidal flats. The 1201 Third Avenue, Two Union Square, Nordstrom’s flagship store, Benaroya Hall, the Seattle Central Library, and the main building of the Seattle Art Museum are all notable structures in this region.
