Eastlake, Seattle, King County, Washington
Eastlake is a Seattle neighborhood called from its location on the eastern coast of Lake Union. The neighborhood is made up of a mix of houses and apartments, as well as small businesses, particularly on Eastlake Avenue. Though occupied by a diverse range of Seattle residents, Eastlake is particularly appealing to those with ties to the University of Washington, which is easily accessible by a variety of bus routes. Stores, restaurants, the first Red Robin gourmet burger restaurant (since defunct), a bakery, and numerous houseboats are all located in the neighborhood.
