Ballard Map

Ballard is a neighborhood in Seattle, located in the northwest corner of the city. The Ballard Locks, the National Nordic Museum, the Shilshole Bay Marina, and Golden Gardens Park are among the city’s landmarks. The Ballard Historical Society is a non-profit historical society maintained entirely by volunteers in the Ballard neighborhood. Although there is no typical exhibition space, the group maintains a community presence through self-guided history tours, historical markers, lectures, community activities, and collections. The holdings of the Ballard Historical Society include memorabilia, historical archives, pictures, and other things related to Ballard’s history. Society’s photo archives are now available online.
