Cascade is an urban area near to South Lake Union in Seattle. St. Spiridon’s Orthodox Cathedral, Immanuel Lutheran Church, and several disused laundry blocks are among the historic structures in Cascade Neighborhood. Alley24 was developed in 2007 around the New Richmond Laundry Building, a Seattle Landmark located between John and Thomas Streets and Yale and Pontius Avenues North. The ancient façade was preserved under the new design by NBBJ, which also relocated their headquarters to Alley24.
