Broadview, Seattle, King County, Washington, 98177
The area was given the name “Broadview” because of its panoramic views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains to the west from its steep, westerly hillsides. Broadview also has the historic E.B. Dunn Gardens, which were developed by the Olmsted firm, which is responsible for many of Seattle’s parks. Reservations are required to tour the gardens. Llandover Woods Greenspace, located on the northwest side of Broadview bordering the Highlands, is home to various Native Animal and Plant Species like as owls, eagles, mountain beavers, and old-growth trees. Because of the area’s low residential development, the species has been conserved.
