West Seattle Map

West Seattle, Seattle, King County, Washington, 98116

West Seattle is a collection of Seattle neighborhoods. It includes all of Seattle west of the Duwamish River and includes two of the thirteen districts, Delridge and Southwest. It was formed as a separate town in 1902, but was annexed by Seattle five years later. Saltwater beach parks surrounding Elliott Bay and Puget Sound, such as Alki Beach Park and Lincoln Park, are among the area’s attractions. Views of the Olympic Mountains to the west and the Cascade Range to the east are very popular in the area. West Seattle has one-third of Seattle’s green space and urban forest, much of it in the West Duwamish Greenbelt.
