Cherry Hill, Seattle, King County, Washington
Cherry Hill is located on a north-south slope east of downtown Seattle and First Hill, nearly equidistant from Puget Sound and Lake Washington. Capitol Hill occupies the northern two-thirds of this ridge, while Cherry Hill occupies the southern third, with East Madison Street serving as the dividing line between the two. Cherry Hill’s highest point is 420 feet above sea level, near the broadcast towers on East Madison Street. Despite the fact that Cherry Hill and Capitol Hill are contiguous portions of a single ridge, Seattle historian Walt Crowley considers them to be two of Seattle’s Seven Hills.
