Bryn Mawr-Skyway, King County, Washington, 98178
Bryn Mawr-Skyway was the only CDP in the Seattle metropolitan region with a majority-minority population as of the 2000 census. Since then, the region has become even more diversified. According to the 2010 census, the Skyway area’s demographic composition is almost evenly spread among White, Black or African American, and Asian community members. Skyway’s primary business districts are located along Renton Avenue South, with one center located between 68th and 74th Avenue South and featuring a small casino, bowling alley, and grocery store.
