Kent is a city in King County that is part of the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue metropolitan area. State Route 167 and Interstate 5, as well as Sounder commuter rail and commuter buses, connect the city to Seattle, Bellevue, and Tacoma. Kent is King County’s second-oldest incorporated city, after Seattle. Kent has 73 parks, miniparks, playfields, skateparks, greenbelts, and other recreational amenities.
