Redmond, King County, Washington
Redmond is a city in King County, 24 kilometers east of Seattle. Redmond Derby Days is a community festival held annually on the second full weekend of July. In 1939, the Redmond Bicycle Derby was held around Lake Sammamish, and it has since grown into a multi-day event that includes a bicycle criterium, procession, entertainment stages, a beer garden, local food options, and activities. It also includes a carnival with rides and attractions, as well as a fireworks display on Saturday at sunset.
