Kirkland, King County, Washington
Kirkland is an east Seattle suburb with a population of 92,175 according to the 2020 U.S. census. It is the county’s sixth-largest city and the state’s twelfth-largest. Restaurants, art galleries, a performing arts center, public parks, beaches, and a collection of public art, predominantly bronze statues, can be found along the city’s downtown waterfront. The Seattle Seahawks’ original home was Kirkland; the NFL team’s headquarters and training facility were located at the Lake Washington Shipyard (now Carillon Point) along Lake Washington for their first ten seasons (1976-85).
