Lake Forest Park, King County, Washington
Lake Forest Park is a city in King County, northeast of Seattle. It was created in the twentieth century as a bedroom neighborhood with single-family homes on medium to large-sized lots. Less than 4% of the city’s land is classified commercial, with most of it concentrated in one area, and there are no industrial zones. State Route 522, which connects to Seattle and Bothell, runs through the city at the northwest corner of Lake Washington. Lake Forest Park contains a number of parks and nature reserves, as well as access to the Burke-Gilman Trail and organized summer events.
