Hobart, King County, Washington
Hobart is an unincorporated community in King County and a census-designated place. The population was 6,767 at the time of the 2020 census. Hobart is ranked 31st out of 522 places in the state of Washington based on per capita income, one of the more dependable metrics of affluence. The Hobart area was first colonized by loggers in 1879 and was called as “Vine Maple Valley” at the time. The Post Office changed the name because it was too long.
